Procedure: Anatomy is About Rhythm

1. Using arrows helps indicate what direction the parts of the figure are going. You should always be asking yourself things like, "is this arm going away from me or towards me?"

2. Constuct the figure out of simple shapes. this helps indicate where the side planes are.

3. Anatomy is rhythm. when you learn your anatomy you can incorporate rhythm into your figure. Watch this video for a demo on this concept.



4. Bring your drawing to finish with your tones.

1. Lay-in. Your lay-in is personal.

2. Structure. Construct the figure from simple forms to create a solid drawing.
